JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary

The Mechanical Integrity Supervisor is responsible for supervising, developing, implementing and maintaining processes required by the mechanical integrity program. The Mechanical Integrity Supervisor is responsible for the asset integrity of an area that will include multiple plants and pipeline facilities as well as supervising Mechanical Integrity technicians and specialists to ensure all essential functions are maintained.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all required inspections are consistently performed to company guidelines and procedures

  • Develop and standardize Mechanical Integrity processes

  • Ensure accuracy of Fitness for Service Evaluations

  • Ensure inspection results are reviewed and appropriately communicated to the Operations capability team

  • Develop Mechanical Integrity Budgets for assigned areas and maintain and accurately forecast spending

  • Responsible for regular communications with area operations

  • Ensure compliance to all local, state and federal jurisdictions

  • Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles

Education

  • H.S. Diploma or GED and 3 years industry related experience

Work Experience

  • Experience reading and interpreting maps, drawings, procedures and applicable operation and repair manuals

  • Experience in mechanical integrity industry codes such as API, ASME, ASNT and NBIC preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of: the safe and compliant operation of processing plants

  • Knowledge of: facility/system operations

  • Knowledge of: the safe and compliant operation of internal combustion engines, reciprocating/screw compressors, gas turbines, pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc

  • Skills in: computer/software & hardware applications (not limited to Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)

  • Ability to: apply mathematical skills

  • Ability to: learn and utilize PCMS Management Software and/or other applicable software

  • Ability to: communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information and instructions

  • Ability to: apply strong analytical skills

  • Ability to: apply strong mechanical trouble shooting skills

  • Ability to: assume responsibility, perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful conditions

  • Ability to: work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of urgency

  • Ability to: embrace excellence around safety and environmental stewardship

  • Ability to: work in confined areas/spaces including vessel entry

  • Ability to: react immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others

  • Ability to: operate tools and equipment required

Expected Salary Range

$106,000.00 - $160,000.00
