JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary

The Facility Integrity Engineer is responsible for technical support of facility integrity and operations for company refined products and crude facilities. This role will perform engineering analysis and perform projects to improve integrity of the assets and reduce leak risk of the assets.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Facility Integrity Engineer includes but is not limited to the following:

• Use engineering analysis to troubleshoot recurring operational issues and implement solution.

• Perform engineering analysis of preventative and mitigative measures recommendations and execute associated projects as required.

• Implement mitigations as recommended to remedy impact of modeled surge conditions.

• Perform projects associated with vapor recovery and combustion units to comply with upcoming EPA changes.

• Manage projects to perform API 570 inspections.

• Work with various stakeholders to identify leak risk reduction projects and follow through to implementation.

• Maintain and update procedures and engineering standards with changing regulations and emerging technology.

• Lead program development projects that improve current processes.

• General project management for both expense and capital projects which includes:

• Manage PLC (project life cycle) for capital maintenance projects which includes scoping, submitting for funding, forecasting and execution of projects within pipeline facilities.

• Lead teams of contractors and inspectors to execute projects to completion.

• Manages projects within defined budgets and complete monthly financial forecast. Communicates with stakeholders during duration of projects and operational issues.

This position will be filled at a level commensurate with the candidate's education and experience.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering required

Work Experience

• At least 2 years related work experience preferred

• pipelines and/or hydrocarbon processing and related facilities design, construction, operation, and maintenance

• read and interpret governmental regulations, blueprints, contracts, manuals, specifications, surveys, charts, load studies, and other relevant reports and correspondence

• communicate thoughts, ideas, information, messages, and other written information, which may contain technical material, in a logical, organized, and coherent manner
